There is no break in of Chrome lined barrels.

Wipe out any oil/grease/packing lube that came in the gun and shoot.

ETA: This isn't a military procedure, just THE procedure. Seriously, there is nothing to do unless you bought a SS match barrel.

First... drop it a few times on the cement from chest height until one of the hand guards pops off, replace the hand guard then lay it in the dirt and pile a bunch of really heavy junk on top of it, next sleep with it outside in a muddy hole in the rain, then take it for a swim in the ocean, be sure to take the time to stop build a sand castle, then take it for a 25 mile cross country hike...

When your done hose it off, hit it a few times with an AP brush, and drown it in CLP from a squirt bottle...

That should do it... All broken in... the Marine Corps way..
