When I build an upper, I purchase multiple upper recievers from multiple vendors and test fit on the lower. I choose the best one and sell the rest off.

It only costs me a few bucks more but keeps my BRDOCD in check.

    +1 to the no accuwedge
If the wiggle or lack of is that important it would be easier to go with a Sundevil lower and call it a day.

If your focusing on your trigger press and your sight alignment... you will stop noticing the wiggle.....

My take on it is if you are a competitive shooter and you use the check weld and nose on charging handle, wiggle can be bad. Particularily the wiggle you describe that is even too great for an accuwedge.

It may not be your lower but could be the upper, or a mixture of both. If you have a mic, then mic them up and see which one it is.

Don't know why, but the wiggle is almost always in the upper.

    Pin holes get stretched.

Even on new builds, it seems like the tolerances vary more on the upper...which is fine...I'd rather have a "loose" upper than a "loose" lower. During the 9/11 rush, Bushmaster sent me a totally unacceptable complete upper for my preban lower (in more ways than just fit) and they were kind enough to pick out a very tight one for me when they replaced it.
