Or is this a case where you once shot a 3 shot group around 1 inch in the fashion you say so you calling it a 1 moa rifle. There is a huge difference. People all too often exagerate on these type of posts. I once heard a guy claiming to have a AK that could shoot 1 moa and I asked for proof and he never produced it even after saying he would. What I would expect from the ammo your are using with a grip pod and a great trigger puller with a red dot would be around 2 moa.
You can shake your head all you want.

At 50y the rounds are touching at 100 they are around 1moa, not touching but close. I had a picture somewhere but cannot find it right now.

Next time I get out to the range I'll take a few 5shot groups at 100.

How many rounds are in these groups?

A 1.5 MOA ten round group is much more significant than a 1/2 MOA three round one.

I usually do 5 shot groups, but I can do 10 next time I go out.

I think ten is a better indication, but just to make sure people are comparing apples to apples.

A 10 shot group is good. I generally shoot 5 5 shot groups and take the average of those 5 groups.

55gr wolf, about 1moa at 100 (bipod grip)
62gr wolf, about 1moa at 100 (bipod grip) - at 300 pretty accurate hitting a 8inch steel, prone, bipod grip.

Never had accuracy issues aside from me
I personally find it hard to believe that Wolf ammo is even capable of statistically significant (10 shot+) groups like this (even from a bolt-action on a bench rest). Maybe one time this happened (with a 3-shot group) but I cannot believe this is your average grouping whatsoever.

My SCAR, from a bench, using NATO-spec ammo with a RDS is ~2-2.5MOA. This is pretty consistent with NATO ammunition accuracy performance.

In my experience, overall, it's on par with your average AR-15 in regards to accuracy utilizing the same ammunition.

5 shot groups - generally two groups shot back to back.

Aussie 7.62 AFF 91 & MF 87: Usually either side of 1.3 MOA at 200 meters using an Atlas bi-pod and rear bag.

R1M1 (South African) 7.62. About 1.75 MOA. Surprisingly good for 1981 ammo.

150 gr Hornady FMJ-BT reload. About the same as the Aussie, but more consistent (better ES, SD).

With surplus ammo you will see the occasional butt ugly flyer. Consider deburring the flash holes if you are processing surplus 7.62 brass for reloading. The following two groups on steel were shot back to back with my Aussie surplus:

    2.5" at 200 meters (~1.1 MOA):

    7 1/4" at 385 meters (~1.6 MOA)

That Aussie shoots like a house on fire in my 17 as well. Wish I could get more of it. Also, the German DAG is under 2 minutes, with the added bonus of being DEADLY on the receiving end.

My results are based on 5 shot groups. I verify zero nearly every time I shoot my rifle, and typically shoot 5 rounds at 100 and 50. The results posted have been extremely consistent in about 3000 rounds through the rifle. I've confirmed zero probably 7-8 times.
