    Sights for G17

Wanting to change my stock sights and before I decide with what kind, how can you tell if you can change the front sight post or if it's a fixed front sight post?

Glock are screw in from the inside, top of the slide. You will need a front sight tool to remove it. I use Warren or 10-8 rear's with Dawson Fiber fronts. Their fronts come with a front sight tool

All Glocks have a removable front sight.

You can remove the front sight with a punch and hammer.

If the older style, the newer ones now have screws.
