Just ordered my 2.0, cant wait to get back to the States and test it out! Im wondering if installing it is a job I can do, or if I should leave it up to a gun smith?
Here you go: http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?...+muzzle+device
Search for the tools you will need. Basically a narrow wrench and either barrel clamp, reaction rod or Brownell's version of same. Now if your current muzzle device is pinned, then yes, you will need a gunsmith. ADCO comes to mind, as does Robb, at Northern Va Arms.
Thanks for your service!

It's an easy installation. A narrow open-end wrench works well, although I just reinstalled a BC 1.0 using my Hammerhead tool adn THAT worked great compared to using a wrench.
Install using a crush washer, narrow end toward the shooter - shouldn't take more than about 90 seconds to install. Look around here for how to use a crush washer. It's very simple but there is a lot of confusion about it.
2.0s come with a shim kit as they are suppressor compatible. I suggest the use of Rockset.
before attempting to remove flash hider, make sure its not pinned on, which is very likely if barrel is less than 16" long, say 14.5". you did not mention barrel length in initial post.

Awesome, thanks for the help and good info guys, it helped alot. It sounds like a pretty basic job.
Mark- Good to know, its a 16" BCM middy, I dont think Ill have to worry about the pin, but thanks for putting that out there. Thanks for you support brother. S/F
Want to build up an upper using the BC 1.0 and a Wilson barrel though the threading for the Wilson barrels are 5/8-24. Any special runs or ways to tap the BC 1.0? Rather not turn and rethread the barrel.
