I don’t know for sure, but if it’s like the Magpul fixed carbine stock it won’t be. It does say on B5 that it is designed for mil spec carbine RE’s, which the A5 is not so I’m leaning towards no it won’t work or it may work but you’ll have an ugly gap between the stock and receiver.
It says on their website it fits milspec carbine receiver extensions via set screw.
Without confirmation direct from B5, I’d say it won’t fit the A5 tube.
It will absolutely fit on an A5 tube.
The question is whether the depth inside will allow it to go completely over the A5, or if it will stop 3/4” out.
I don't believe it is designed to cover the RE tube, supposed to give A1 length of pull, IIRC length of A1 stock is around 13" but this is only 8.74" long. Appears to me it will lock in place and look like an extended carbine stock, I don't see why it won't work on A5, just overall length may be a little off.
I don’t see why it would not work but perhaps with more of an A2 lop rather than A1. The adjustment hole would also be a factor. IIRC Vltor made a 6 & 7 position, BCM is 8 and Magpul is 10.
It works fine, I have a 2 of them and have used them on a variety of RE, When I use those stocks, it is typically with a scoped weapon, so it isn't like they are put up against the receiver anyway.
