AR multi-tool
There are a couple of multi-tools I'm seeing coming out for AR maintenance, which of these are worth looking at?
Gerber eFECT military maintenance tool

Samson Manufacturing Field survivor AR15 tool kit

Thanks
Nice links man, any word if they're going to make a Samson tool for the MIAD or MOE;)

that multi tasker is bad ass. the gerber looks funky and mostly useless, the samson is neat but i dont use an a2 grip. i may pick up a multitasker and do a review on it. or not we'll see.

You could buy a vice, barrel wrench, stock wrench, & action block for that kind of money. I simply cannot see paying a premium for tools that still probably can't do the jobs you want to do with them NEARLY as effectively.
A better bargain would be a $20 Swiss Army Knife or maybe even a $80 Multi-tool that could do 3X as much.

i have a leatherman wave, i think the idea here is for a field kit. i didnt see a price on the multitasker though so it may be to rich for my blood. looks good though

MSRP on the multitasker is $65, i believe. for that price, it's not bad. it's a bit heavy though - i have one and will be doing a writeup on my site in the future after using it more.
my favourite multi-tool is the older leatherman wave, which i have with my most of the time. however, it does have its limitations when it comes to AR-specific uses.
