Were you told this by FN reps or was this in your training on the weapon?
Just curious. I know that after the first round or 2 any oil would be blown out or cooked off anyway. Just wondering why there would be any mechanical "wrong" in putting a shot of oil in the piston and gas block?
It sounds like the SCAR's are proving to be pretty damn rugged. Glad to hear that. Reports like yours should give the platform a good reputation.
