There are also the ones that don't have any markings, like my 14.5" LMt upper. It does have some tiny defects, not machining related but forging related I guess... like some residue left an imprint when the forging was done.
It's a non-issue really. :p
What about a square shaped symbol? Supposedly Daniel Defense is not using the Cerro any more....
If I could piggy back on this with a request for the folks in the know ...

I have seen a lot with the square recently
I have an upper that is supposedly Colt mfg. It has the Diemaco stylized "D" next to an split "A" (Anchor Harvey) but no "C" anywhere.
The bolt carrier has the Diemaco stylized "D" with a large "C" above it.
Is the upper really a Colt?
