Chris Fry. Period.
I see that the Strezt classes are held at the Blue Mountain Range, they have very asinine rules about rapid fire and downloading mags and loading one round at a time. I don't see how you can have a productive training class at that range.
Chris Fry is excellent! No doubt!
You said that you'd be willing to drive up to 3 hours away for a good class....then I'd also highly recommend King 33 in Southington, CT. King 33 is owned by Chris Fields, an 18B/Special Forces Weapons Sergeant, who is an outstanding instructor. What's unique about King 33 is that they're one of the only training companies in the region, maybe the only one, using Simunitions for force-on-force training for military, LE, and civilians. Nice thing about the Sims training classes is that we have the Sims weapons there and no need or worries about bringing your own. Guys come from NY, MA, and RI all the time for classes.

Full disclosure - I'm an instructor at King 33 also.
Mac, whereabouts are you in the state? Also you and ICAN check your PM's.
