I use a pocket pro2. Had it for 7-8 years I think.
Uspsa matches use those, pact 3, or ced timers. I think youre fine with any of them.

Has anyone used the CED7000?
How does it work for dry fire? Is it simply a matter of location being wrist mounted or worn on a lanyard?
Would a Pocket Pro II also record dry fire on a lanyard?
No comment on CED.
As far as shot timers for dry fire, other than the Pocket Pro 2, I've tried a bunch of phone apps, and for all of them it doesn't really work. I guess it depends on what you are timing, but if the sensitivity is set high enough to pickup trigger click, it also picks up other sounds, like the sound of the gun coming out of the holster. I tried also with the dryfiremag dry fire aid, and it would pick up the trigger press, the sound of the reset, and other sounds too.
Setting a par time works better for dry fire, IMHO. If somebody has figured out a solution to this, I would really love to know.
I heard, but can't independently verify, that the Coolfire Trainer CO2 activated barrel works well with shot timers, as it has louder "shots" and allows timer sensitivity to be set lower

Pocket Pro II has a dry fire feature. There is a quick 5 min video on you tube that covers features.
