Very interested.
Sign me up, lol!
I'm curious as to how the magwell works. It's not a detachable magwell, as shown from the pictures in the article. Yet the article also shows both 5.56 and 7.62 mags in the same magwell. Is there an insert that allows the 5.56 mags to fit?
Wow, that is very interesting to say the least.
LIKE the FULL Ambi controls. From looking at the pics (pivot pin area) I think I might possibly get how the mag well situation works...
The patent application shows a removable/interchangeable magazine well.

That is a fine looking gun. If and when it makes it to dealer shelves it would be hard to pass up.
That patent is not the gun we are discussing.
The CM901 clearly shows a single magwell for both calibers. It is also interesting that the front and rear pivot pins for 7.62 are not in the same horizontal plane, but the 5.56 pins ARE, yet both are shown on the same lower, which exhibits only the 7.62 pin. I'd like to see some detailed disassembled pics of the lower. There must be an insert/adapter or something that is not mentioned in the article.
I wonder if they'll have one of these at IACP.
