Long time lurker, finally joined.

Long time lurker here, I was told a long time ago that these forums are THE place to get information and insight. I've learned a metric sh*t ton about this platform from this forum, everything from proper staking of components to ballistics and much more.
I'm a lifelong shooter, since I could stand or at least longer than I can remember and will continue until they put me in the ground. I've participated in 3 gun events, high power, IDPA and tons of informal matches and even a couple tactical carbine courses and clinics.
Just recently acquired (about a year ago) my first M4gery built by a friend of mine (Prior 10th mountain division Army Ranger) I will give a run down on that later, but it's not my first experience in the AR world. My first AR was an older Bushmaster AR-15 A3 20in with a removable carry handle that was given to me by my Dad, it's been upgraded a bit and is my 2nd favorite rifle... The first being my AK which is my primary go to rifle for everything... I feel like I will be donning a flame suit for that on this forum!
I have since bought another m4gery (Windham SRC) as a play toy and have been upgrading it to the point that not much left in it is original except for the upper/lower/barrel and Trigger group. The main intent has been to build a lightweight rifle.

My other rifles include an Arsenal SLR-107F and all it has is an optic mount, Burris fastfire3 and a surplus sling.
H&K G3A3 with a stanag claw mount w/picatinny rail with a redfield Battlezone scope and another surplus HK sling.
The rest are hunting rifles like a marlin lever action 336, tikka T3 .308 that I will be building into a long range rifle one of these days.
As for handguns,

Ruger GP100 4in SS .357 magnum
S&W 637-2 that's my everyday CCW.
