I need to check the FP stop EGW sent me--it was the part number they recommended for flat bottom. Ned, is adjusting point of barrel impact if required as simple as a shorter barrel link, or would I need a pro to weld a shim into the frame?

Also, really stupid Rookie Level one... when I'm taking material off the FP stop to fit it into the slide and extractor slots, is it better to file/stone across the entire width of the breech-side face, or the back of each side tab, or to try to open up the slots? Granted, this may be cart before horse since my slide won't even be MADE 'til 4th Quarter, but just playing with parts now I can tell the extractor slot and FP-stop tab are too tight to fit together without a little tuning. Then there's the ejector... I'm getting too much conflicting info here, original spec on .45 Super was a longnose more like a Commander and some suppliers are telling me "Government or even shorter."
